This is a dual-role position taking full responsibility for a 44ft Wajer chase boat, before transitioning to a new 55ft Wajer currently under construction.
The Chase Boat Captain will manage all aspects of the chase boat’s operation, including extended solo passages of 500NM+, independent berthing, bunkering, maintenance and logistics. When not operating the chase boat, you’ll integrate into the 60m mother yacht’s deck team and assist with day-to-day deck operations.
Your partner will join as a Stewardess and work as part of the mother yacht’s interior team. The couple will be accommodated together on the chase boat, but the Stewardess role is based onboard the mother yacht rather than the chase boat.
This is a highly autonomous role requiring someone who is confident, capable and completely self-sufficient at sea. The successful candidate must be comfortable taking full responsibility for the chase boat and operating independently without oversight.
